We will be working on this credit in the month of February
- Research a holiday that you and your family do not celebrate. Come up with a creative way to share about that holiday (brochure, report, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Learn a folktale from a different culture and share. This is a storytelling project so the folktale needs to be memorized and presented to the class.
- Learn and preform a dance from another culture (3 mins of chorography, serious applicants only)
- Teach the class a game from somewhere else in the world.
- Learn a song or poem in a language you don’t know. Present it to the class.
- Create a collage celebrating diversity around you. Think about what diversity is, and the many different ways people can be diverse. The Collage needs to cover an entire page with not blank spots. You will explain your collage to the class and talk about what diversity means to you
- Research the flags of 3 different countries. Explain what they mean and how they came to be. (1 page typed report) Present your findings to the class.
- Conduct an interview of someone from a different culture. Create at least 10 questions and record (voice, typed or written) the answers to your questions. Present three of the most interesting answers with the class.
- Research and create an art project in the style of another culture. Present the art to the class and explain your art and the important style choices that culture has in their art.
- Receive an Honorable Mention or better in the Reflections.
